😻 I live on the CA coast.
Two years ago, Juan O Savin did an interview where he said,
“They’re running P-8’s off the Florida coast heavy & hard.
The waters around there are pretty hard to hide in.”
I had to look up what a P-8 was:
“The Boeing P-8 is a multi-mission maritime patrol aircraft,
excelling at anti-submarine warfare
anti-surface warfare
intelligence, surveillance & reconnaissance
search & rescue.
It can fly up to 41k ft & @ 490 knots.
It searches for submarines, surface vessels
or search & rescue survivors.
The P-8 is also designed for low altitude missions.”
I realized I’d been seeing P-8’s in my area for years
& lately they’ve been flying “heavy & hard” & in formation.

The P-8 is a remarkable aircraft. It has limited offensive capabilities along with a significant suite of electronic surveillance equipment that can also "see" underground as well as underwater. Boeing did a great job on the airframe.

I always feel SAFE when I see the P-8s.
I frequently HEAR them but can't SEE them
because they're too high in the sky
but when they fly lower over the water
I'm always relieved
& unceasingly grateful to our Military ❤️🪖🇺🇸

I live in Calif also. 45-50 mi northwest of edwards airforce. One day two yrs ago I watched as a craft almost like that was flying so fast above the lake (Kern River Valley/ Lake Isabella) and if I remember rt two maybe three F 15(?) or F??? Was chasing it and couldn’t keep up with it and it got above the mt range across of my house across the south fork river and literally disappeared. Poof it was gone and the jets just flew on by it. I dint think about recording it cuz the camera in my phone is terrible
