I'd be shocked if obesity rates were really that high in the '70s. Rarely saw obese ppl anywhere back then; now they're everywhere. Gotta be the chemicals in the food (toxins) & the GMO crap (fake food). Much of what is allowed in the food supply in the U.S. is forbidden in most other countries.

Personally, I've noticed that restaurant food doesn't stay with me (hungry again few hours later); yet when eating prepared-from-scratch meals in other countries it wasn't that way.
