I read somewhere that the original Hitler was killed in the trenches in WW1 by a gas attack in 1918, and that the whole rest of his career was an illusion created by the media. Including, apparently, the use of Walt for photo-ops.
I was born in the 60s and my parents often spoke of the dangers of communism and naziism. I had nightmares of finding Hitler in the storm sewers. I always had the impression, as a 6 year old, that Hitler was not dead as we had been lead to believe. I was 6. Where did that come from?
