DISTRIBUTED FOR CONFERENCE means
now that it’s been filed & docketed by the clerk of the court
+ 1 or 2 of the Justices
now, today all the Justices have got several copies of the petition.
We sent in 45 so that’s 5 per Justice.
They review it between now & the 22nd
then on the 22nd in Conference the 9-Justices get together
by themselves.
No one from either side is allowed to be there..
Then the 9 Justices vote.
If 4 of them vote in favor of a date for a hearing
that will be publicly noticed on the docket
& then it goes to a full-blown hearing
where I as the plaintive-petitioner would be able to discuss this
in front of the Justices
& then the U.S. Solicitor General
would have her opportunity to do the same.
