Mom is in the hospital with a gastric Volvulus (twisted stomach) but can’t have surgery til Monday@5pm. She’s in pain, will have a nasogastric tube in place and is simply passing the time.

Prayers going up now. If she doesn't have the tube in yet, have nurse run the end of tube in hot water for 20-30 seconds before insertion. It will soften the rigid tube and passes much more easily and comfortably. Not something they normally do but it.helps
Thanks for the advice and prayers. It was placed last night and was apparently pretty traumatic… those things suck for all involved.
