Paul Revere took off 242 years ago last night
from the Old North Church in the North End
where my grandmother was born.

He rode out to Concord to alert the countryside
particularly the minutemen
that a British troop of 800 men was coming..
Those men met the British Army
the largest & most powerful empire in history..
& they chased them in retreat.. inflicting terrible casualties
& that was the beginning of the American Revolution…
I’ve come here today to announce my candidacy
for the Democratic nomination for POTUS…
My mission over the next 18 months of this campaign
& throughout my presidency
will be TO END the corrupt merger of state + corporate power..
threatening now a corporate feudalism in our country:
to commoditize our children
to poison our children & people
with chemicals & pharmaceutical drugs
to strip mine our assets
to hollow out the middle class
& keep us in a constant state of war.

That speech relaxed me so much, i went streigth into an office power nap.
