I have actually worked with many Democrats who were very committed to stopping what they call the school to prison pipeline. I do not know if they would call themselves leftists, maybe some would, but my point is that we have common values and beliefs on both sides of the aisle. Where we might differ is how to approach circumstances contributing to these patterns.

No one has to try, no effort in thought or deeds seems attractive to a certain group, but not everyone is willing. Thank goodness for people who want to make life better for themselves and others.

This is so true but honestly i hadn't thought of it in this way only that it could be done better.
