I am thinking of lowering my car insurance with state farm because I am over insured right now. They raised my insurance a month ago over $300 a year for no reason other than "inflation."

State Farm is woke and they also raised our homeowners due to the last hurricane (even though we did not make a claim).

State Farm is not gonna like it. They resist any changes other than finding ways to charge me more money.

I went down to bare minimum on everything and then after their snootiness I changed to a different company. I was really disappointed with their attitude. Twist that attitude real tight and shove it where the sun never shines. It costs $500 to put my car on the road before I ever leave my driveway this year. Insurance and tags. Before I was 65, my tags had increased $60 and insurance $70 for nothing but being a perfect driver ALL my driving days. Thank You Lord! Age 65+ we get a $130 discount per year. I AM Really Glad To Be 65! Not many will say that! 😊

state farm is scum woke right now, to the max. Hard to get house insurance in Florida right now so I don't want to switch it, but I know what I need to do with them, when I have the chance. I am waiting for ron desantis to do more for homeowner insurance, but I think ron got paid off and threw us all under the bus recently.

With everything, properties, vehicles shopping insurance is necessary... Mother shops every couple of years or when they want more money. I think insurance companies go behind closed doors ALL make agreements, scandalous... and raise rates. People who make claims, raises THE non claimant's rates. SCANDALOUS!!!

I used to shop, they always asked what were someone else's pricing, I never told them other price offered. Pekin does the bid shopping for me so I don't have to.
I left State Farm after 20+ years. I've seen Christian co-op group insurance. Each payment takes care of each other. Haven't looked into that in a long time... so I don't know how they are doing.
