There are some who will never wake up. My brother is one of these brainwashed people. It is very sad. I have made it clear to him that I do not discuss politics because there is so much hate speech in it. When he heard one of the favorite terms of the leftists being used in such a way, he got the message I will not talk about it - at least not with him. All we can do with such people is to pray for them.
