Tonight's moon

I woke at 4am, the moon was bright but not where I expected it to be!
I've got to pay more attention, the position appeared unusual.
In the last several years I've noticed that, quite often, the moon isn't where we expected it to be. Right now at 6am it's about where it was at midnight last week. Very strange 🤔
It's interesting that you and others have also noticed it's seemingly "out of place".
