I feel like parts of me that went dormant got woken up again after having an awesome visit with my brother, best friend in the entire world who I’ve been missing so much!

We went for a hike in his favorite place today, did the whole hike barefoot, through the river back and forth to get to various trails up a mountain, to a beautiful waterfall haven at the end. Grounding all over the place! So healing!!! ✨👣👣 🌊 ⛰️ ☀️ ✨

I’m so deeply grateful for him & our friendship.

You have such a good memory!!! Yeah he’s going through his second cancer battle in life, but through DJT’s ‘right to try’ this awesome place called ‘Cancer center for healing’ exists & even while in the midst of his treatments, he looks healthier than anyone I know! He’s like a beam of light, and a wizardly mountain goat! He blows my mind! I have a great feeling that he will beat it again and live a long happy life. 🙏🏻💗

❤ Yes, I remember we prayed for him with an upcoming test or treatment. I also remember that pic of you 2 kids eating sandwiches:) I'm happy he's feeling well and you guys are making the best of it!

Of course! I'm great, just a little spring fever. The ski hills are closed but still a ton of rotten snow on the ground. Today was just sunny and gorgeous though. Water was just pouring off our roof. Ready to hang out on the dirt like you did today!

Whoa!!! There’s been so much rain and snow it’s crazy!!!! I hope you get some time in the dirt and grass again soon!!! I’m glad you had nice weather today! That was true in both southern & Northern California today I noticed! Went from an extensive winter chill to quite toasty in the space of a few days! What’s your favorite outdoor activity you’re looking forward to when the dirt reveals itself again?

Well I'm terrrible at favorites but am drawn to rivers, lake's and mountains. We do a lot of fishing, boating, hiking. It's sort of a seasonal gradient: May and June are good boating, salmon fishing, mushroom hunting, lower elevation fun. We can't really get to the mountain lakes until July and it gets chilly after August. Such a short season to squeze it all in.

I love all those things!!!! Good taste!!!
👍🏻👍🏻Wow, what beautiful pictures!!! You all have some great spots to visit!!! Looks like an awesome group of people too!!! Geeez is that a striper? That fish is huuuuuuuuuuuge compare to that dog!!! ❤️😄

That's a sturgeon. I think it was about 8'6". They are catch and release. They are quite docile when you get them in are are fun to interact with. They really get hammered by fisherman though. Lord knows how many times that fish has been caught.

Wow! I wonder, 30-40 years old at that size? I wonder how fast their mouth & face heals from the wild adventure of being caught! Maybe likes it for the social adventurous aspect of it, or maybe just grateful every time they realize they get to keep on living. :) I wonder what the dog thought seeing that swim by!

I bet that's a good estimate. It is said that some can live to be 100 yo and grow up to 20 feet. We've pulled hooks and line out of them and I seen scarring but never large wounds or infections. Some know the routine and come right to the boat and the dogs always like to be involved. This one always fights hard. He runs down river and plants himself behind rocks. You have to chase him in the boat or you won't land him.
