It's the Passover Moon where a Lamb was sacrificed to God and eaten amongst the Israelites, and the blood from that lamb was painted over the doors of Gods' followers so the Angel of Death would pass over and skip that house, and would kill the 1st born child in every house without that blood over the doorway. The Sacrificial Lamb, the Passover Lamb - the Gift for God, protected them.

it's the Passover Moon in Judaism, when the Angel of Death passed over the houses of the Israelites during a plague sent by God to kill the firstborn sons of the Egyptians.
"Pesach" began at sundown today and lasts until sundown tomorrow. Passover begins in the evening, on the 15th of Nisan which is today.
