One problem I have always found with propaganda and mis/disinformation is at some point it becomes the norm or reality, and that reality becomes a shell of what actually existed once was; at some point it's almost impossible to go back - the rabbit holes does further down till there is no end.

Some try to get the masses out, but there is always some excuse why not
