"Ten Days of Darkness". I will probably feel like a moron on 3/23 when nothing happens (again).

I have been lookin for a certain map since I saw your post, but I don't know where I placed it.
Did Antartica have the name Australia first?

TIL that Antarctica used to be called Australia until modern-day Australia stole its name in 1824, which left the continent nameless until its current name was adopted in the 1890s.
It appears New Holland wanted a name change……
