The school itself is broken and has been for who knows how long. It not what you know, but who you know when it comes to education - there's a collective mindset that doesn't want to seen as wrong

Yes, there are good teachers out there that want students to actually learn, but the increasing attention to behavior/classroom management, teachers becoming 'advocates' for children needs; the increasing bureaucratic BS from a state and federal level, non-stop fees, dues and other payments' being 'over' or 'under' qualified and not getting a job, simple burn out; and lets not forget the per review BS is just a sample of the laundry list teachers have to put up w/.

Is no only stressful, but makes one wonder why they went into the profession in the first place
