He spoke to people who lived a century ago. The world view and science of the time was different from ours. He didn't reveal his inventions and so would have used a language that hides as well as reveals. We don't have his technology in use but we're trying to understand his description of the universe. We might be missing a lot. He's saying we live in our bubble and don't even study that. We need to talk to people who fly a lot if we don't fly ourselves, read their books, need to hear first had descriptions from them to understand our world. As well as we need to sail or read books from people who sail a lot. How much is water? Who's watches it? Now we try to read fake science or not even read and research but just have a Christian opinion. But we have found out our religion has been falsified and the Bible altered. And it doesn't even matter what the world is like to those of us who never leave home. We all need to travel more to build our own understanding.
