I worked as a Medic on an ambulance for many years. Seeing people die enough times took away a part of me that I can never get back. It just changed me. I am sure there are many here that can relate. I am not sure if it would even affect me (The graphic part of it) to be honest. I don't enjoy being desensitized to such things. It is a defense mechanism that took hold and sometimes I feel like something broke in me and I want it repaired. On that note though I believe, for those people, death will be a walk in the park compared to what comes after for them.
