Ours were in the basement. I was always pouring over these publications pondering the world. I guess my great uncle (I think that is right/ I never met him) was a photographer for them and I thought that would be the coolest thing ever.

My grandpa always had a stack of natgeo mags in the bathroom and I would just flip through them and dream. Taught myself to read before kindergarten because I wanted to understand what the captions for the images said. πŸ˜…
