There are also many videos of people trying to light snow up on fire, and it's not melting as it should, its burning.

snow wont melt with a lighter due to sole combustion physics. if you put it on a stove and melt in a pan it should melt. i tried this burning snow a couple years ago and it wouldnt melt and smelled like olastic. my cousin who is an environmental chemist explained the combustion of snow and how it wont melt with a lighter. i forget why though.
