This Cartoon Reminds Me of Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado, where we took the One Way Only 12 ft Wide Road that Snaked all the way to the Top of the 10,000 ft Mountain! A Truly Nail Biting, Sphincter Clenching Experience that I will Never Forget!

We turned around at some point, but it was beautiful. Did make it to the top of Mt. Washington, back almost 34 years ago, driving by myself...while hubby ran a road race to the top. Scariest drive ever. Fog, 2 way traffic on very narrow road, few guard rails that I remember. Many hairpin turns, was amazing I made it to the top...which I couldn't even see when I arrived.
Hmmmm, wow, kind of like what we are experiencing today. I believed I was going to make it, didn't get overtaken by fear.

This was ONE WAY TO THE TOP--No Turning Around Once You Started. The Way Down was Two Way.
My Wife was Driving and I was in the Passenger Seat Trying to Remain Centered and Grounded, but my Fingers were Nonetheless Clutching the Glove Compartment and I was Leaning to the Right.
She asked if I thought that would do any good and I said, "No, You Don't Understand....If we go over the side, I'm Getting Ready to Bail!"
That was my Reptilian Fight Flight or Flee Brain's attempt at Humor
BUT You are Right. We have both Faced Our Fears in Similar Situations and have not only SURVIVED, but THRIVED; and Now we are here to Hold a Sacred Space for those less Courageous Sols who have yet to Face their Fears!

I wonder if there were warning signs by the side of the road, like in the cartoon, but saying things like "do not enter, no way off the ride", or "are you sure?"

I saw it, and told her how wonderful it was, because it truly is awesome to see. I didn't want to bring up my girls, as I'm trying to not always make stuff about me(hard for me, but I'm learning).
