I never got my wisdom teeth. I have what's called retained deciduous teeth. I have an extreme case, I think because I only lost 1-2 teeth as a child. Dentists will show me my x-rays & point out all my permanent teeth still up in my gums. I'm in my late 40s & they've all said my permanent teeth won't drop, so I'll never get to use them. Unfortunately, baby teeth were only meant to last 10 years at best, so mine have gradually started going bad. Had to have 6 pulled already. My son lost about half of his baby teeth. He's 23 & he hasn't gotten his wisdom teeth either.
