A thought exercising me in this context is where should i be as am living far from home. Does it matter?

I don't whether to interpret it as 'where will you be physically/mentally or generally' so I would say no but that's just my take :)

I meant physically, as in geographically.

I wouldn't have thought so, I see it more as 'where do you think you'll be when it begins?'
