I worked across the street from The Palace of Fine Arts, San Francisco for 10 years. It was constructed for the 1915 World's Fair and is still there, though it saw rebuilding in the 60's. The stage set-like design was spared demolition by none other than the mother of William Randolph Hearst. Paging Doq Holliday!
