You can wrap the meter in aluminum screening, use gorilla tape around the metal cut edges, use two clamps around the meter (one in front and one in the back portion (around the pastic portion that juts out where you read the meter. Also have them turn the radio portion off. It does protect you. Hugs WWG1WGA
