The only Gma I knew was on my dad's side. Short Spanish lady that was ornery and mean at times. She knew her stuff, had 5 kids? She was not a lady to be messed with. Gave solid spankings. Could give you that look and you better stop! She would raise chickens and rabbits and kill them herself, and then cook up some real interesting dishes. Toughest person I ever knew.
