for eg. Susan Sarandon bought a vineyard across the bay from my Dad in the Bay of Islands [not sure if she still owns it though]. James Cameron bought 15 hectares of land.

Peter Theil is a Big name who invested in NZ and has a bunker. He was a major Trump supporter in the first election- donated over $1M, turned on him over his covid response, didn't support him in 2020.
