hanging out in 3 feet of water can be fun
but it's not swimming
swimming is in the deep water

truly living is in the deep end
too many people I know hang out in the shallow part
safer there
simpler
for some reason, not me
not saying I'm better
but maybe better equipped for life challenges

the shallow people aren't for me
nor I for them
I love them, though
just can't hang with them for long

THE SHALLOW END OF THE GENE POOL
A Lot of People that I Know are Living at the SHALLOW END OF THE GENE POOL.
Every Once in Awhile, some Superficial, Airhead will Ask Me: "How Come You're So Deep?"; a Comment Meant to subtlety Disparage Me, but only Serves to Reveal their Shallowness and Superficiality
Pissed level 11 on a scale of 1-10. So much rage. The lies, the pure evil, the idiots that can't see evil.
I think it's the enemy
affecting people differently
but I'm not sure
like maybe the enemy sprinkled dumbness and it didn't hit me like others
just not sure
or maybe I was protected by God for a reason
again, not sure
I really don't want to be different
it feels strange and lonely sometimes
but I can only be me
no one else
so, I roll with it
still, if I can find common ground with a less deep person
I meet them there
