I reposted the thread because I believe the info is important. There is probably an easy fix. If you actually have planted seeds in prior years, you more than likely know one of the first things suggested is to soak the seeds prior to planting. I don't know if this will completely solve the problem since in all honesty I did NOT read the entire thread, but I believe that is a part of the reasoning for soaking the seeds. Non GMO, open pollinated heirloom seeds should not have this contamination problem. Plenty of good, quality seed vendors open for business.
