So true. Once bitten, twice shy... I got the shingles vaccine back in the day, like a good little citizen. Then they said "oops, that version wasn't effective, now you need the two-shot version". Uhhhh... Well, eventually I got shingles and a smart doc treated me with anti-viral (or anti-parasite or whatever) and cleared it up.

The question that came to mind after all that was Why get the vaccine in the first place if there's a treatment?

Follow the money. Especially if they're mandating or incentivizing something. "Free fries with that"? Nope. As the song goes "Not gonna be fooled again!".
