This is what grounded all US Flights this morning...later in the day it grounded Canada.

when the magnetic pole shift occurs- gps and compass gets fooked? maybe an update to compensate?
i heard they were grounded for safety while the sniffers went up

The whole week it's been 350 military aircraft in the air instead of usual 200!
