I've been banging on for years about reducing the size of governments until they are no longer a threat to their citizens.
An ironclad constitution, strong sensible laws - independent law enforcement and judiciary
Job done.
I'd like to get to the point where we do not vote for representatives, but vote for policy, which is then accepted or rejected by an upper house, and executed by a SMALL administration, (effectively project managers), headed by a mostly powerless figurehead for meeting foreign dignitaries.
