I was chatting in person with 3 guys at a drug rehab

As topics bounce, one young man spoke up 3 times

as a boy, his dog had been mauled, his dad honored his cries, took the time & expense to save the now one eyed dog
the dog lived another 10 years
"wow, you're dad was your hero"
his face lit up

another time, his dad had literally caught a tumbleweed, got all cut up, but he caught it
"man, your dad was a bad ass"
his face beamed

finally, people tell he & his girl of 10 years shouldn't be together, some love vs attachment crap, they have tended to get in trouble together
"what God ordains, no man can stop"
his chest pumped

I have so many stories
praise God

I got back to the house and balled
WeThePeople hurt & I feel their pain

That young man's father od'd & he found him.
His hero killed by the enemy.

But he has his smile back for his hero, as he should
