In my area a few years ago they said it cost $1 Million for each windmill. I used to think it was up to your County that decided on the windmills in your area-but since learned it is the Township. So far my Township won't approve them, Yea....I can on the other hand understand the farmers putting them on their land for the payment-I also learned it is the Farmers responsibility if something goes wrong (in the small print) Farmers can not make it on farming alone like they used to & make a great living & pass it down to the family. My husbands friend got $800 to go across his land (2013) I can see them out my windows in the Township south of me * east-no a pretty sight
