Just too many dots line up... I cannot shake this idea, and noone has presented a better rationale, to convince me otherwise.

I think, the Annunaki allowed their overseers to keep more of their 'junk' DNA active, that DNA the Annunaki used to make us - it gave them advantages over the rest of the human slaves, kept them in power - clairvoyance, telepathy, telekinesis - but their masters are still are more powerful, immortality, dimensional travel/activity, the powers to create life.
I can only think, that other alien races must have stepped in to help save us from the Annunaki slave masters.
Obviously, we have to prove we want to be free, before they will intervene - but I think we have done that.
If Nibiru is getting closer, then, so are the Annunaki.
My only two questions are:
Why mine gold on Earth, when, one imagines, they could create it themselves?
Why do they stay on their planet, that has so many short comings, when they can move to another, and create a new home?
For beings that seem omnipotent, these two questions bother me..
