Some of the changes are for fairly obvious reasons, as the names are ethnic with connotations they were probably avoiding, or in Beto's case a very privileged white boy trying to appeal to the Hispanic majority in his city and state... but who would purposefully change their name TO Buttigieg?? 🤣 was that the price to pay to make it??
