Gates is tied into this too. There were distribution contracts and big money in the fact that ALL schools who would teach Common Core would require Microsoft Windows and new software. They forced the schools to sign on by threatening their funding. It was all a frickin' ponzi scheme and children's education was the last of their cares!!
