Moscow was the last great empire as it moved from Constantinople. Today in the Orthodox Church we studied St Alexander Nevsky one of Russia’s most celebrated (Orthodox) Princes. Another celebrated Russian Great Prince is Dimitri Donskoy. i am an Orthodox Christian and a large contingent of our Church are Slavic immigrants from Russia, Ukraine, and other Slavic countries. These are some of the most seriously holy people I have ever been around.
