The picture in Mr. Pool’s and Archillect’s posts is the Glen Canyon Dam near Page AZ. It’s only about 7.1 miles from the spot that Ivanka is standing pointing at a picture of Lake Powell, which was created by the Glen Canyon Dam.

I've always wondered...I mean...other than the obvious creation of recreational lakes....what do these man made lakes cover up do you think? Are the dams primarily for creating energy?
