The republican's nominated him and voted to nominate him as Speaker, but the Speaker of the house has to be voted on by the entire house. Right now the split is razor thin and several Rep's have said they will not vote for him so he does not have the majority vote in the House. Will he by the time the new congress is seated? maybe..
