These are medlars.
If it's from the states it's Mespilus canescens (small woody shrub), if it's from another continent it's Mespilus germanica. They contain organic acids such as malic, citric and tartaric, which have a beneficial effect on the nervous system and blood vessels. They stimulate and strengthen the body because they contain a lot of vitamins A, B, C, iron, calcium, potassium, sodium, phosphorus. The consumption of loquats has a good effect on the endocrine glands and the digestive system. They are recommended for diseases related to the bile, kidneys and liver. Medlars also help with angina; they are good for eyes and skin because of vitamin A; they also protect cells from free radicals; also help with bleeding gums.
