That lullaby was written by Harry Nilsson for the film Popeye, which Robin Williams sang for the baby character Sweet Pea. When I saw the movie and that song began to play, I was so enchanted by its beauty and arrangement. One of the sweetest melodies I've ever heard. The way Robin sang it was also very moving. He's such a genuine guy, a real artist. Everything he did, he poured his heart into.

They took the story from the old cartoons and turned it into a musical, with some backstory to it. Reflecting on the bullies and higher society of a fishing port town where Popeye happens to land and decides to stay. It's a charming family movie, the songs are good but this one tops them all.
From your description I'd like to see Popeye... That lullaby is so captivating. Thank you for sharing that and your amazing version of it, which is completely captivating as well!!
