i was only 6 years old when it happened but i remember feeling sad. I knew something bad was going on! There’s not much i remember as a very young child but i still remember the feelings around me.

I was also 6 and at my gradeschool going up the steps to my classroom when the announcement over the intercom came of JFK passing. I stood on the steps and looked out the windows as the flag to our gradeschool was lowered to half staff and started crying and just felt extremely sad. 😢😢

I am not sure if my dad remembers who is turning 91 years old tomorrow, although we live in Australia, JFK was big news here in Australia so he might remember what he heard or saw in the Newspapers of that time.
I will ask him once he wakes up.
This might give an insight prospective from an overseas outsider.

I was only 9 months old on that fateful day but much of my life has been infactuated with that man and his family. I took this photo Saturday thinking about this whole thing. This is the tunnel where Jack Ruby supposedly shot Lee Harvey in the midst of Dallas' finest. I actually grew up around Fritz , the detective that was escorting Oswald. My best friends dad was the elevator man at Parkland that found the magic bullet that fell from the stretcher. He is in the Warren Report.
