There would be glass inside and out. One would think they would have some reinforced glass and better security. Doesnt look like they live in a gated community either.
By the spray of glass having been pushed thru some, that level of powderery stuff implies security glass, a different composite. You don't just break that out, and it would be inside, not outside. AND like ya said scatter from possible movement.
