the constitution failed to protect us because it is just a piece of paper and therefore meaningless if everybody does not risk their lives to protect it, which did not happen.

it will always regress if every individual is not strong enough to declare sovereignty regardless of risk.

when you consider this, there really is no reason for any government other than some paid servants with no power to manage infrastructure projects which are funded on a 100% voluntary basis.

so, the real answer is fix the constitution or bust. the constitution must give no power or authority to any person, party, or group but instead outline some minimal agreed version of natural law to guide sovereign beings to live in harmony.

we need to get a hybrid of the original constitution and the hopi prophecy.
