If anybody's wondering how the grid will handle the onslaught of electric vehicles:
1. Coal plants are not the only game in town, but even 100 added coal plants will generate less pollution than the ICE cars removed.
2. Nuclear fission is NOT a problem when managed safely & efficiently regardless of how scary the media made 3 mile island, Chernobyl and Fukushima seem.
3. Plenty new technology coming online to offset the load on the grid.
4. Plenty of new jobs being created to service the above.
