Are we talking about a firmament word/concept found only in the Bible of is this some other firmament cupole from a movie or some philosophy? I need a background for this concept to understand what is being talked about. It seems to be a topic of importance. BTW I think Earth's atmosphere is separeted from the surrounding space by an electrical plasma layer.
