Mountains:
The Earth is thought to be a ball of hot fluid with cooled and hardened crust, held in it's shape by a central gravity. A Large Gravitational Body flying by can just suddenly pull on the fluid, break the crust, and make mountains and volcanoes. Looks like maybe it has happened a lot?
