Sometimes gifts are neglected or rejected. Sometimes gifts are undervalued, unappreciated and treated like they’re nothing. But no matter the actions of others, always remember you are a gift from God! The work He has accomplished in you through Jesus is beautiful. Be the gift you are. Freely you have received, freely give. Even though some people behave as though they don’t have a drop of humanity in them, don’t stop being human. Don’t stop being good and doing good. You are blessed to be a blessing. He has enriched your soul. So you can’t just throw up your hands and be done with it all. You can’t sit there offended at the insensitivity of others when their souls haven’t been redeemed and nourished like yours. Forgive. Have the attitude of Christ. Show compassion.
