No Electric - but "they" want everything and everyone (except "them") to go electric -- this proves the point that "they" want you to be stagnant and unable to travel or free yourself from "them"...
It looks like a field full of sitting ducks. I'm not a military strategist, but I'm sure one of the best ways to destroy armed enemy combatants is to immobilize them.
