My heart has been longing for something my entire life…

I am still searching for that same thing all these years later.

Same…my youngest daughter and I were looking at the sunset just recently and the stars were just starting to shine. She always looks for Orion’s belt just as I always have. Out of the blue she asks me if I think we’ll ever get to go back there? Not “go there” but “go back there.” I’m not speechless often, but that question left me speechless with tears steaming down my cheeks. Was like a wave of homesickness and longing washed over me. Who knows…maybe someday…
